LASER OPERATOR

Qualifications
•
Must be able to read blueprints and calipers, use computer to call up programs and ability to operate a Forklift and use overhead crane to move sheets of metal to laser cutter machine
•
Must be willing to submit and pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
Responsibilities
•
Working experience on CNC Machines
•
Knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication
•
Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids
•
Utilizing a crane to move sheets of steel to the bed of the laser machine
•
Unload parts from the laser bed
•
Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
•
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
•
Ability to follow instructions and management directive
•
Ensure a safe working environment, good housekeeping for your respective area
•
Must be able to operate a Forklift
•
Ability to stand for duration of shift up to 10 hours
•
Must be able to work the following shift hours:
•
1st shift: Mon-Thurs = 5:00am-3:30pm; Fri = 5:00am-1:30pm $17.00/hr
•
3rd shift: Sun = 8:30pm-5:00am; Mon-Thurs = 6:30pm-5:00am $19.55/hr
